Elections


The Clerk is responsible for conducting all elections within Christian County including all Federal, State, County, City, School, Township, Village, Park and Library Districts as well as some Fire Districts. Some of the functions we conduct prior to an election, during an election, and after an election are:

    • voter registration
    • absentee voting
    • election judge training
    • precinct set-ups
    • ballot proofing
    • voter tabulation
    • campaign finance filings

Next Election is:      April 9, 2013 - CONSOLIDATED ELECTION

Absentee voting, Early Voting and Grace Period Registration and Voting are all conducted at the County Clerk's office. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. The Clerk's Office will be open for voting only on the following Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. untill noon: March 30th and April 6th.
